How do I know if my child needs tutoring?
A person needs
tutoring if they are not achieving their maximum potential. Because
we all have different
learning curves, one child may reach their maximum potential at a
slower rate than others. However, a tutor may help expedite the
process.

What if the tutors does not know how to approach the problem?
Let's face it! Not all companies do what they say! Especially when
it comes to tutoring. Some companies claim that they can help you
with your homework, but still do not deliver. Or, when they do
deliver, they do not deliver as expected. At Felicity Tutors, our
tutors are both reliable and honest! Although all of our tutors are
experts in their field, we understand that
no one knows everything. If any of our tutors do not
know how to approach the problem, or can not figure it out, we will
follow the following process:
1. Try to find out! If we don't know how to approach the problem, we
will try to find out. Our tutors have access to an extensive library
of resources that they can use to help them during the session.
2. Examine the problem! We will re-examine the problem to see if there is anything that we missed
3. Credit your minutes! Any extensive minutes that are used by the tutor in trying to determine how to approach a problem will automatically be credited to your account.
It's that simple! Combining reliability with honesty is just one of the ways that we keep our promise of quality and service to you!
How long will my child need tutoring?
Each child is different and learns in a unique way. The length of
tutoring (online or in-person) is dependent upon how your child
progresses. Some students progress quickly and others take more
time.
What types of payment do you accept?
Online/email tutoring:
We accept credit card, debit card, e-check, Paypal, and Google
Checkout*
In-person tutoring:
money order and cash
*Google checkout is accepted for email tutoring only.
How do I get a tutor?
Before you can get a tutor, you need to go online and register. For
in-person tutoring, you may either
contact us, or fill out the tutor request form.
What subjects and grade levels do you tutor in?
We tutor in almost all subjects and grade levels, from elementary
school to graduate school. For detailed information, please visit

How much does tutoring cost?
The cost of tutoring depends on whether you have chosen online
tutoring or in-person tutoring. For detailed information, please

Do I have to sign a contract?
We do not use contracts of any kind. Felicity Motivational Group
offers session by session tutoring. Discounts are given to clients
who purchase four (4) or more sessions at the same time. This is
often a good idea because it initially establishes some schedule
consistency and an adequate opportunity for improvement.
What if I want to bring a friend to the tutoring session?
For in-person tutoring, we recommend that every student have their
own independent session. However, if a student wishes to share an
in-person tutoring session with a friend or sibling, they may at an
additional cost per student.
Online tutoring sessions may not
be shared.
Why are the first three minutes of each online session free?
The first three minutes of each session will not count towards the
session quota, because it will be used for preparation.
What are the benefits of online vs. in-person tutoring?

For in person tutoring: Do you have to tutor at my house?
We do not come to your
house. Our tutors can meet you or your child at a public place such
as a library or any other community venue.
Is there a cancellation fee?
There is no cancellation fees for
online tutoring.
However, for in person/face to face tutoring, a session that is cancelled
without 48 hours notice will result in a 50% charge.
Do I have to pay before I can register?
No! Registration is always free and no credit card is
required.
How much is a customized curriculum?
The cost of a customized curriculum varies depending upon the
subject and grade level of the student. Please
contact us for a free quote / estimate!
Are there any discounts?
Discounts may be available for large groups and associations, new
members, and senior citizens. Please
contact us for additional information.
